Finally, someone got around to pairing music and alcohol.
Norman Music Festival, now ramping up for an 11th year of seeing a million faces and rocking them all, is raising funds for this year’s fest with a trio of two-hour Brew Sessions on Jan. 13 at the Main Street Event Center, 300 E. Main St.
Local breweries 405 Brewing Co., Crossed Cannons Brewery, Lazy Circles Brewing, Anthem Brewing Co., Prairie Artisan Ales and COOP Ale Works will pour tasters while Hideaway Pizza, Pub W, The Garage and Van’s Pig Stand serve up food.
The night kicks off early with the Sipped Session (4-6 p.m.) featuring Annie Oakley.
DJ Jon Mooneyham, of Spy FM fame, hosts the Buzzed Session from 6-8 p.m.
Helen Kelter Skelter and Gum finish off the event during the Amped Session (8-10 p.m.)
Tickets are $25 for VIP members of Norman Music Festival, general admission is $35 and designated drivers get to enjoy the food and music sans beer for $20.
